IMPORTANT NOTE FOR LIP BLUSH CLIENTS:

If you have a history of cold sores, it is absolutely essential to consult your doctor before getting a lip blush procedure and likely take a prescription antiviral medication a few days before your appointment to significantly reduce the risk of an outbreak during the healing process.
This is because lip blushing can trigger a cold sore flare-up even if you haven't had one recently.

IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS WORK THAT WAS DONE BY ANOTHER ARTIST:

It is required that you email me a clear, well lit photo of your brows or lips prior to booking your appointment. I will need to see how your brows/lips look currently in order to confirm that I will be able to work over your existing tattoo. Failure to send me a photo prior to booking will result in loss of your deposit if I am unable to work on your brows at the time of your appointment.

If any of the above contraindications apply to you, please refrain from booking an appointment and feel free to email me with any questions!

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT:
WHAT TO EXPECT
It’s normal to experience tenderness around the treatment area, for the first few days after treatment. The colour will look around 50% darker at first, and you’ll soon notice the area start to scab. It should take between 7-10 days for the color to scab off completely - and during this process the colour will start to lighten and soften. The final colour result will be visible after 28 days.

THE FIRST 24 HOURS
In first 24 hours after the treatment, please rinse and clean the area with clean water or baby wipes. Apply a thin layer of the provided cream with a clean Q-tip or hands to the area 3-5 times per day.

THE FIRST WEEK
In the 7 days after your treatment, apply the provided cream with a clean Q-tip or hands to the treatment area 3-5 times per day.

THINGS TO AVOID
X Avoid using makeup on the treated area
X Avoid sunbathing, steam rooms or sauna’s
X Once a scab forms, do not pick the area - it will fall off naturally
X Swimming in public pool
X Heavy exercise that causes sweating

FOR 30 DAYS AFTER TREATMENT
X Avoid laser treatment over the treated area (Fraxel laser, IPL), because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.
X The use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to a faster fading. Always protect the treatment area from the sun.
The healed colour will be 40% less dark. If you have microbladed brows, microblading strokes will be 10% to 15% shorter after 4 to 6 weeks. It is why we need the touch-up session.
